Sodium sulphide is a yellow to red crystalline solid that is highly watersoluble and has a strong rotten egg smell due to the release of hydrogen sulfide HS gas It is commonly used in tanneries chemical industries and water treatment

    Helps in removing lignin from wood to make paper  

 3 Water Treatment  Metal Processing   

    Used to remove heavy metals eg mercury lead from industrial wastewater  

    Helps in metal surface treatment and ore flotation in mining  

 4 Chemical  Pharmaceutical Industry
